• DMX-512 supports up to 512 addresses (address 1-512).
• Each switch represents a binary bit. Setting a switch ON adds its value to the address.
• Example: Address 1 = only switch 1 ON, Address 5 = switches 1 and 3 ON (1+4=5), Address 512 = only switch 10 ON
